I hope to have more time to blog this week, considering the huge game this upcoming weekend. But for today, I will bring you a little comic relief. I love to play this when I need a good laugh because quite honestly, this is one of the funniest things I have ever watched. So, sit back, relax and enjoy the show as the House of Reps gets introduced to the national champ Florida Gator.
First just watch it to watch it here-

Much will be made this week about how UGA should win this game, how down UF is, how their fans don't even want to come to the game etc but I can bet you, when kickoff time arrives, the stadium will be 50/50 just like all other years. Heck, if anything it should be UGA faithful leery of this game, losing 18 of the last 21 or whatever the stat is, tends to cause even the most optimistic fans to be pessemistic. I know for me, I am old enough to remember expecting to beat the Gators every year. How times have changed and I will be perfectly honest, I expect us to lose this game every year, until our school can prove me wrong. I think all signs point to us having a great shot this year but I have thought that for many of the past 10 years Coach Richt has been in Athens-he has two wins against them. You can bet UF will play inspired football and they still have a boatload of talent. If we can protect the football, score some early points, it will clearly help our chances as turnovers in this game have played a HUGE part of the outcome of many. Later in the week hopefully I can put the stats together to show just how important turnovers can and will be in game like this. Heck, you only need to go back one year to look at the impact turnovers can make. Total turnovers a year ago, UGA 4 UF 1. Final score UF 34 UGA 31 in OT. Let's just hope our guys come into this game focused and ready to go. This game is very big for the SECe race, and I think also very big for the future of Mark Richt and his program. Gators have lost 3 straight but have played two of those three on the road, also 2 of the 3 against the top two teams in the nation. They will be ready to get their season turned back around and no doubt they have supreme confidence they can and will beat UGA yet again.
Last note, 7 year old Grayson Rams fell in the playoffs 20-7 to Buford. It was 0-0 at the half, 7-7 going to the 4th quarter, kids gave all they had but Buford was just a little better. I will say, Buford had one of the worst examples of coaching/sportmanship I have ever experienced in youth sports. Not sure this guys name but he is a total embarrassment to Buford and it is truly a shame when a grown man has to act like such a fool during a football game involving 7 year old boys. So, I congratulate Buford but to this coach, I say grow up, learn to have more class and sportmanship-and Buford GFL reps, think long and hard about allowing this person to coach football ever again. Yes, he was that bad.
